DouglasSIMPSONDoug (Birtley, formally Dipton) peacefully passed away in hospital on 25th August 2025, aged 93 years.
Beloved husband of Lorena, much loved father of Lorraine, Keven and Christine, proud grandad of Shaun, James and Adam, adored great grandad of Even, Jayden, Eve, Lola and Rosie, doted brother of Annice and Pauline, a friend of many and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Family and friends please meet for funeral service at Birtley Crematorium on Wednesday 10th September at 11.00am, all welcome afterwards at Barley Mow W.M.C DH3 2AW
Family flowers only, donations if desired may be left in the donation box at the service for the Alzheimer society
